“Hey, sorry if I seem tired. They did, like, fifty years of bad stuff in a week and I’m also struggling with a lot of targeted Barbie Movie content.” - Twitter user reacting to a mountain of insane Supreme Court decisions.
July 2022
Look, I wish I had better news. It seems wild everywhere right now, and even I have had to slow down my regular tsunami of news consumption and social media time to remember to take care of myself too, as we all do. But I always believe in staying informed, so a lot of these articles are central to current conversation, but whew. So to find some fun and joy this summer, here is my suggestion: Do something new, go somewhere different, or finish a project you have always wanted to. Just for you, just to find a slice of sanity and to have a story we all want to hear - we still have an exciting life to live. I plan to write a special ‘back to school’ issue for September to share stories of next chapters, dream projects and experiences and every age, including a special video interview. So be good to yourself.

Fight the good fight
The divisive conservative supreme court in the USA is turning back the clock to make decisions from controlling women’s reproductive rights & healthcare, to reversing necessary climate protections to considering dangerous “independent legislature theory” to blocking state gun control laws. Stay alert, stay informed, help others with information, don’t spend with companies undermining progress, and thank you to the countless women sharing their stories right now and to states like California, Oregon and Washington protecting women’s choice.
*Bonus Project - Tees!
One more thing just for fun, and out of gift giving necessity: We added some tees & sweatshirts for our fellow Aunties & Tias on our Etsy Shop and blog (our WWH tees are on there too). Happy Shopping and thanks for reading! Cx
