Delicious Autumn
Break out the cashmere scarves, apple cider, Gilmore Girls, and a side of anxiety ;)
September/October 2021
Hello friends, my favorite season has arrived! “Delicious Autumn, my very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird, I would fly about the earth seeking the successive Autumns.” ~ George Eliot
Have you been enjoying living through historic events, then getting up in the morning and going to work? Me neither. But I’ll tell you what - I think this is a great time for change and passion projects, so drop those lines in the water now (apparently we just had the luckiest full moon of the year last week as well). Literally, what do we have to lose at this point? The world is shifting, so let’s be brave and shift with it - do you have a goal, dream, or project? I want to hear about it.
On that note, I suspect this particular newsletter format of mine is winding down at the end of the year, but it has been fun and I will sporadically pop up with projects, interviews, and special themed issues in the future. Thank you for coming along, there will be a Christmas spectacular in the future… and hey, if you enjoy this newsletter, you can always buy me a coffee :)

Fight The Good Fight
Let’s face it, everything is on fire, so let’s just name a few to take action:
Earth is angry AF: Read the recent code red IPCC Climate Change Report
Texas, this is not a drill! Women’s rights are under attack yet again, and other states want to follow suit. Donate to the ACLU or Planned Parenthood
Voting Rights also continue to be under attack in the US, get involved
UNHCR: From Afghanistan to Yemen, there are more displaced refugees than ever that need our assistance (lots of great local volunteer organizations too)
And finally, Californians please vote NO in this crazy & scary recall
In the wise words of brilliant Brittany Packnett Cunningham: “Unclench your jaw. Stop doom-scrolling. Write down 3 actions you’ll take tomorrow about any of the injustices happening right now. If one is to send $/help to someone in the storm, do that tonight. Go to sleep. Oppression exhausts on purpose. We need rested warriors.”
