July 2023
Hello crew: I hope this finds you on, or just back from, or about to leave for, a vacation. And if you are a social media manager, I am wishing you some well deserved rest after the Threads launch chaos this past week. Make sure to carve out time for adventures this summer, so let’s quickly dip into the news roundup before getting back to relaxation. My latest posts: Pulling the Thread(s), Gender Equality in Media + Business at Cannes Lions, and the relaunch of Wild W/E Home
Let’s stay connected: CMMedia, Blog, Newsletter, Shop, Linkedin, Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and yes….Threads

Fight the Good Fight
Welp, the U.S. Supreme Court had a busy week of making terrible decisions and precedents, just before the July 4th holiday. Read up on what was decided on affirmative action, LGBT+ discrimination, student loans, and more, to see what we all knew would happen after the court was stacked with conservative Supreme Court justices (and badly behaved like Clarance Thomas and Samuel Alito). Your vote matters in so many ways, elections have far reaching consequences, keep fighting the good fight to set things right for everyone.
