Celebrating A Life Well Explored
As someone with an extensive background in travel, and who is frequently out on a solo trip, it is the thing I get asked about the most. Exploring the world through travel and culture is the greatest education and joy of my life, and I want to bring more of that to people who feel the same. But considering women make up to 82% of all travel decisions, I am especially speaking to you. So I have launched a new Substack + podcast called POP PASSPORT dedicated solely to all things travel, that will include a podcast, posts, and newsletters from myself, and occasionally fellow travel insider friends.
My credentials? I am the founder of CMMedia, the previous lead communications for Four Seasons in Beverly Hills and London, hosted tv and podcasts (see the Pop Passport Pod and previous Travel Oracles), wrote the children’s travel book “To Be We”, have bylines in Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Vogue, Forbes, Skift, BBC+, and have worked on additional projects with Four Seasons Hotels, Atlantis The Royal, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels Airbnb, Expedia, Viking Cruises, Destination Canada, Bermuda Tourism, Discover America, Rodeo Drive, and many more. At this point, I have also traveled to over 50 countries, lived in 4 of them + 8 cities, and will forever be an avid solo traveler out exploring, connecting, and conversing.
Pop Passport was created from my years working in and around travel, and my endless appreciation for exploring, learning, storytelling, staying curious, and encouraging new adventures for the women who seek them out. It also celebrates my love of pop culture - in particular all things film tourism. Somewhere between trips and conversations, I realized I wanted more than just pretty pictures and "top 10" lists. And considering women make up to 82% of all travel decisions - shouldn’t we have more curated content?
