May 2022
Hello from Rome, where I am currently eating my way through the city and am sold on that Italian life. So, it seems we are all in a mad dash to travel, explore and generally get out of the house given the last two years. Are inflation and gas prices crazy high? Yes. Has that stopped ‘hot girl summer’ from returning to travel this season in huge numbers? No. So let’s go - whether that means a weekend stop, a bucket list trip, or finally moving abroad given all of the many options available from digital nomad to non-lucrative visas. Carpe Diem!
First: We’re back with all new ‘Travel Oracles’ podcast interviews every Wednesday (new one tomorrow!) with global women who live interesting lives and travel the world. Coming up, I chat with people in Spain, Australia, Thailand, Senegal, South Africa, Barbados, US, UK and more - these are all conversations about their experiences in travel, culture, career and lessons - join me! Listen on Apple, Spotify, Google & more
Second: We are working on our Airbnbs, but for now there is new merch - tees and hoodies - in our Wild West Home shop for US shoppers

Fight the good fight
The US Supreme court has dealt a devastating blow against women, their choices and their healthcare. This on top of attacks on minority voters and LGBTQ+ families is so alarming that everyone should be fighting like hell in this waning democracy. Things to do now:
Donate to Planned Parenthood and the ACLU
With Midterm elections coming up, visit Vote Save America, a very handy voter hub to answer your questions, from reps to policies. Call, write, raise hell with your local reps!
